Holbud Limited was established in 1977 with a predominant focus on exports from East Africa, with over 40 years of experience Holbud Limited has grown steadily into a recognised name in the international commodity market with a first class reputation. With a turnover in excess of USD 2 billion in 2017 Holbud Limited has become a significant supplier of commodities in Eastern and Southern Africa, The Middle East and South East Asian regions.

Holbud Limited are full members of Gafta, FOSFA, The Sugar Association and Refined sugar Association of London, the London Chamber of commerce, the Eastern Africa Association and the Middle East association. Our knowledgeable and experienced team of staff also serve on Gafta committees, and include qualified arbitrators at Gafta and the Refined sugar association of London.

  • Commodity trading and supply of food and agricultural products to Africa, Middle Eastern and South-East Asian markets.

  • Commodities traded include: White and Yellow Maize, Wheat, Barley, Soya Bean, Soya Meal, Sugar, Pulses, Rice, Fertilisers and other Agri Products.

  • Main areas of procurement include South and North America, Northern Europe, Baltic and Black Sea, Australia, East and Southern Africa.

  • African sales markets include Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia, Rwanda, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Southern Africa.

  • Middle East markets.

  • South East Asian markets include India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
